The double room with a queen-sized bed at The Wilsons' Shangrila was just perfect. I loved the cozy balcony where I could relax and soak up the view. The sofa and bookshelves gave it a homey feel, and the walk-in closet was a nice touch. The air conditioning made it comfortable, and I enjoyed watching some TV on the flat-screen cable TV.

The only thing I didn't quite fancy was the shared kitchen facilities. It's just my personal preference, but I would have preferred having a kitchenette in the room itself.

The Wilsons' Shangrila is my go-to spot in Dumaguete City. The staff found and returned my forgotten items during my first stay. It has everything I need - Free Wi-Fi in public areas, Outdoor dining area, Flat-screen TV, and Electric kettle. Can't wait to come back for Christmas!

Each guestroom is elegantly furnished with handy amenities. The highlight of my stay was the balcony in the suite, which provided a serene seating area to relax and soak in the beautiful surroundings. It felt like having my own personal oasis, complete with a view that swept me away to a tranquil paradise.

During our stay at The Wilsons' Shangrila, we had the most amazing meals. The seafood night was one of the best culinary experiences of our lives. The owner has filled the house with captivating historical artifacts from various cultures, making it a must-see. The location right on the water is breathtaking, and the breakfasts were absolutely amazing. we highly recommend this hotel.

I had an amazing experience at Wilson's Shangri La in Dumaguete. the host, Charisse, and her family were incredibly welcoming and made me feel like part of their family. the house itself is stunning, filled with beautiful Chinese and Japanese arts. I loved the separate massage area and the private beach for snorkeling. the staff was friendly and accommodating, and I thoroughly enjoyed borrowing snorkeling equipment and exploring the underwater world. the breakfast, prepared by Patrick, was outstanding, with personalized dishes and a chance to try a delicious New Zealand breakfast. the hospitality and attention to detail at Wilson's Shangri La made it the best place I have ever stayed while traveling.

Great atmosphere, feels like home. Nice sea for swimming and snorkelling. Excellent meals. Comfortable rooms, unique decor. Friendly and helpful staff.

The location of this beachfront guesthouse is perfect. the views of the sea are breathtaking and the fresh air is a nice break from the city. We also appreciated the friendly staff and their delicious food. Plus, the rooms were clean and spacious, providing enough space to relax.

Our Christmas vacation wasn't completely perfect. the guesthouse lacked proper insulation, making it uncomfortably cold at night.

This home stay hotel provides guests with a wonderful garden, clean and comfortably sized rooms, and even arranges for local fishing adventures. Service is top-notch, as the staff is friendly and always willing to help plan your trips and give great suggestions on places to visit. In the morning, guests can expect to receive an excellent breakfast that will leave them feeling full and satisfied for the rest of the day.

One aspect of this stay may not fit everybody’s preference, there may be chances to dine with strangers on the table, possibly leading to a less private atmosphere during dinner times.

The location, by the beach, is incredibly relaxing and peaceful. The owners and hosts, Patrick, Therese, and their daughter, were gracious and attentive to detail. The meals provided were excellent, and the living room and patio were spacious and comfortable. The views of both the full moon and sunrise were breathtaking. The property's proximity to the beach made for easy access to the clean waters. It's an ideal place for a few days' vacation in Dumaguete and the south of Cebu Island.

Can't fault the property in any way.
